About Micah Josephson
Micah Josephson completed his PhD in Applied Physiology at the University of Delaware. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Physiology from West Chester University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in Psychology with a Dance minor. He worked at various universities as a professor of exercise science and a professor of physical therapy.
Micah spent 15 years as health and fitness professional working primarily with various special populations. His training style focused on both brain and body health with the goal of improving both cognitive and physical function.
His research focused on improving function in special populations. His past projects centered around the relationship between movement velocity and neuromuscular activation then translating that information to typically used assessments and exercises.
He currently works as a medical writer and is available for personal training (online or, if near the Lancaster, PA area, in person), consult on research projects and for speaking engagements.
